Trevor Johnson
I am the co-founder of Kit’s Tackle “Jiggin’ the Dream” along with my father, Kit. I am a true made in Montana fishing guide, an insane outdoor enthusiast, a wild man in the woods and on the water and they even say I’m a quarter mountain goat. I am a happy husband, a proud daddy to a beautiful little girl and boy and two sweet dogs. When I’m not shoveling coal into the jig engine, you can find me on the water on leaving boot tracks in the wilds of Montana.
Bryan Allison
If you are visiting Montana and would love to spend a day chasing Montana trout with familiar gear instead of spending half a day learning to fly fish (or maybe some of each), Bryan may be your guy. Trips are a flexible mix of gear and Bryan is a patient teacher regardless of the approach you choose.
He grew up in the Smoky Mountains, fished his way across the years from North Carolina, down to Texas, up to Washington State, and finally over to Montana. Spinning or on the fly, he likes to hear his drag scream! Fishing and taking people fishing has been a lifelong passion.
Bryan looks for the chance to fish in every situation he finds himself. He gets a thrill out of targeting fish with a variety of methods and promotes the use of spinning gear alongside fly gear for effectively fishing all situations presented by the river. Bryan likes appealing to the carnivore side of trout – from mousing at night to working the depths with jigs during the day. A trip with Bryan can lend a new perspective on trout fishing. Summertime walleye floats are a blast too!
